GSSC’s Uttarayan was a success

The Gujarati Society of Southern California (GSSC) held its annual ‘Uttarayan’ (Kite Flying) festival at Twila Reid Park in Anaheim on January 11, 2020, hosting over 800 people. The non profit organization, which seeks to connect Gujaratis in Southern California, organized the event by inviting community members to enjoy the traditional Gujarati festival of ‘Makarsankranti’ through kite flying, potluck, music, and a picnic.
